Our Story

Craftsunfold started as a playful thought between my husband and I when we were both planning about our future as we begin a new chapter in our lives.It wasn't until 2022 when I decided to fully embark on this journey of creating wedding stationeries because I wanted my calligraphy skills to be applied into something meaningful and encompassing. Craftsunfold is much more than paper. Born out of love, passion and creativity - we want to be directly and personally involved in curating the particular elements of an invitation to tell the unique love story of our couples.

The Artist

Hello! Welcome to my studio. I'm Cristina, a modern calligrapher, designer and owner of craftsunfold. Upon graduating from the University, I started working in the corporate world for years. I was also fortunate to be able to work in Japan for a few years until I found myself yearning for a deeper purpose. I`ve always loved writing and drawing. I am so delighted to have found calligraphy and illustration as a meaningful space to express myself, practice mindfulness and create beauty in the simplest of things. I was from the Philippines but now I live with my husband in Marche, Italy. It is picturesque region dotted with fortified hilltop towns, rolling hills, the breathtaking Adriatic Sea, wonderful food, exquisite wines, beautiful people and home for the artisans. Beyond my dedication to art, I treasure the opportunity to capture our couple`s love through our invitations, a keepsake to remember their one special day.
